  • Open Photoshop- New- Drop down to international paper from the tab PRESET.
  •      Ctrl+ and Ctrl-; zoom in and zoom out
  •       View tab- rulers (Ctrl+R)
  •   Use the move tool at the top of the tool list, click towards the ruler outline then drag towards the canvas to create symmetrical borders to aid in design process
  •  LAYERS; when the layer is highlighted blue it means that is the one you are currently working on
  • Ctrl+T- to apply a transformation to images, texts or shapes; the scale tool, keep your finger on the shift key to not pixelate/ keep the picture out of proportion.
  • Text tool; keep them above all the other layers
  •   Have certain texts/ sentences on different layers to be able to manipulate the text and show variation of different fonts and sizes.
  •     Save as a photoshop file! don't chose .jpg unless it is finished.
  •       If its saved as a .jpg it becomes one image, so all layers are combined, as a photoshop file all the layers will be remained till the cover is completely done.
